Dogs need to be fully vaccinated with yearly booster up to date and kennel cough vaccine done a minimum of 2 weeks prior to entry. In line with DAERA we are required to be shown proof of an up to date Veterinary Vaccination Card for your pet at check in.

We are immensely grateful for your continued trust and support. As our business grows, we have reached a milestone that requires us to become VAT-registered. Consequently, a 20% VAT will be applied to our services starting 18th April 2025. If you have any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to contact us. We appreciate your understanding and look forward to continuing to provide exceptional care for your beloved pets.

At Hillside Kennels, we do not discriminate based on breed and will continue to assess dogs based on their individual needs, as we always have. However, due to new regulations, there are specific rules we must follow.

From December 31st, 2024, all XL Bully owners must have an exemption certificate, and their pet must be neutered or spayed.

What You Need to Know:

We cannot accept bookings unless your dog is neutered/spayed and has a valid exemption certificate.

A copy of the exemption certificate must be provided at the time of booking.

Upon drop-off, your dog must be muzzled until safely in their kennel. We will securely hold onto the muzzle and return it at collection.

Please understand that these are legal requirements and not our own policies. We must adhere to these strict guidelines to continue providing care for the XL Bully breed.
